Born David Chinasa on June 25, 2000, in the ever-vibrant city of Lagos, Kosi is a genre-blending Nigerian singer-songwriter whose sound pulls from the heart of Afrobeats, the warmth of Afro soul, and the infectious energy of Afropop. A rising talent under Sky Diamonds Entertainment, Kosi is steadily carving his lane as one of the new generation voices shaping the evolution of African music.

Although he’s only been professionally active for less than half a decade, Kosi’s musical journey has already shown remarkable promise with his breakout debut release in April 2025, Wave The EP a heartfelt body of work that introduced his voice to a wider audience and earned him a debut on Spotify’s Top 100 chart, peaking at Number 80.

Earlier in June 2024, he dropped Blood In My Eyes, a single that hinted at the emotional vulnerability and lyrical intention his audience now expects. His music is deeply inspired by personal experiences, an open journal of emotions woven into rhythm, melody, and soul.
